As we welcome the dawn of 2025, China's international "circle of friends" has sent warm wishes to mark the occasion. Erik Nilsson, a seasoned American journalist who has been telling China's stories for 18 years, recently expressed his hopes in fluent Chinese during an interview with China News Network, wishing all his Chinese friends success, good health, and happiness.
Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. 吴江浩：我建议日本朋友们关注一个关键词，叫“新质生产力”。习近平主席强调，要加快发展新质生产力，扎实推进高质量发展。新质生产力就是要摆脱传统经济增长方式，发挥创新主导作用，以科技创新推动产业创新，以颠覆性技术和前沿技术催生新产业、新模式、新动能。
吴江浩：中日邦交正常化半个世纪以来，两国经贸合作从量到质都有了飞跃发展，双边贸易额连续多年超过3000亿美元，日企累计对华投资超过1300亿美元，展现出强劲韧性和巨大潜力。同时也要看到，中日经贸额和投资增速去年双双下滑，需要高度重视，及早加以扭转。对于今后中日经济领域对话合作，我想提三点建议：
眼下最大问题是台湾少数人执意推动“台独”，这违背了岛内维持现状的主流民意和中华民族的身份认同。同时，一些外部势力对其纵容甚至支持成为最大不稳定因素，其本质是不愿看到中国和平统一，企图通过鼓励“台独”牵制中国发展。
